A film fragment is treated and distorted until its formal quality is transformed from the impenetrable and abstract to the concrete and visceral. As the viewer we are implicated in the exploration and transformation of everyday perception, our ocular intelligence phasing through colour and form until we attain correct perception. But can our perceptions ever truly be corrected? By an honest appraisal of the many filters and distortions placed upon our vision we can venture ever closer towards an attainment of the real - that harmonious union between our inner selves and the world at large.
